Air Conditioning Service Unit

The Value-601A/-601YF is a high-tech air conditioning service unit with all the requirements for servicing vehicle air conditioning systems. Once the vehicle has been selected via the database, the Value 601 can carry out the complete A/C service fully automatically. The air conditioning system can then be checked using the diagnostic kit and a report generated using the integrated printer. With the addition of the optional hybrid kit, we can offer a complete air conditioning maintenance package based on the current market with an eye to the future. The included database in combination with the fully automated process makes air conditioning maintenance very easy and fast.

Value-601 A/ YF

The LAUNCH Value-601 CoolBreeze air conditioning service unit is available in two versions. The Value-601 A is the right device for the refrigerant R134a and the Value-601 YF for the refrigerant R1234yf. The A/C service unit is visually and technically identical and differs only in the different filling of the respective refrigerants.

Database

The integrated vehicle database of the Value-601 makes it easy to select the relevant vehicle for the A/C service. This enables the air conditioning service process to be carried out fully automatically with the aid of the stored, vehicle-specific refrigerant and oil filling quantities.

Fully Automated Operating Process

With the Value-601 from LAUNCH, a fully automatic air conditioning service can be carried out on a vehicle. The advantage of a fully automatic operating process lies in the significantly greater accuracy and efficiency of the A/C service. In the first step, the Value-601 must be properly connected to the vehicle and sufficiently filled with the appropriate refrigerant. The user then selects the desired function from the menu of the A/C service unit, e.g. A/C system maintenance, refrigerant top-up or fault diagnosis.

The A/C service unit drains the vehicle’s A/C system to remove any refrigerant and moisture. This process is known as “evacuation”.
The Value-601 A/C service unit checks the A/C system for leaks by using a leak detector / contrast agent.
The device automatically tops up the air conditioning system with the correct amount and type of refrigerant according to the manufacturer’s specifications from the integrated database. The refrigerant quantity is automatically measured and dosed.
The Value-601 monitors the pressure in the air conditioning system to ensure that it reaches the correct range and remains constant. A performance test can then be carried out to check the cooling capacity of the air conditioning system.
In the final step, the integrated thermal printer can be used to generate a report containing the steps taken, problems detected, maintenance work carried out and other relevant information. This report can be used for customer records or warranty purposes.
